Dinengdeng Festival - agoo la union

This is my video clips taken on May 1, 2011 Town Fiesta of Agoo. Parade of assorted vegetables used in cooking Dinengdeng each barangay has its own float vegetables. Then followed also by street dancers dressed in native clothes, and then the vegetables that are in clothing design. Also joined the parade of different students here in Agoo. Agoo Computer College students will join the parade. The occasion will be done every year in May.

The Eagle of the North Park has a huge statue of an eagle standing like a sentinel at the entrance of the Jose Aspiras National Highway (formerly Marcos Highway) Highway to Baguio City.

Basilica Church-agoo

The Basilica of Our Lady of Charity, along the National Highway, was first built in 1578 as a bamboo and nipa church, later replaced with brick and stone and destroyed during the 1592 earthquake. It was restored in 1873, heavily damaged by the 1892 earthquake and repaired in 1893. The present church was designed by Arch. Ignacio Palma Bautista, its cornerstone laid on September 8, 1975 and was consecrated on December 8, 1978, the fourth centennial of the Christianization of Agoo. It was declared as a minor basilica in 1982, badly damaged during the 1990 earthquake and was again repaired and renovated. The basilica houses the image of Our Lady of Charity. The image was first venerated and enthroned in Bantay (Ilocos Sur) and brought to Agoo by its Augustinian parish priest. It survived, intact, the 1892 earthquake and was canonically crowned on May 1, 1971 by Carmine Rocco, papal nuncio to the Philippines. The massive Mexican-Baroque basilica contains some stone blocks excavated from the old church and has a charming garden, a wishing well and an interesting mural called The Second Coming of Christ by Rey Gimeno. It is a popular pilgrimage site during Holy Week.

About my Family

In my family hmmm ... I feel That was the most happy family. kasi with them everyday, though we are a normal person living on the land and battle poverty, but still fun .... kasi me with my loved ones.

Imelda Park of Agoo

Agoo Imelda Park

The beautiful park of agoo is located in the plaza. A fountain is set in the middle of the park complemented by old acacia trees and tropical flowers at the sides. On the Westside of the park is the Magic all of Agoo. On the northern side of the park is the Agoo Tree House, perched on the top of the acacia tree which affords everyone a panoramic view of the surrounding area.

About my Self

My name is Mamerto Mamuyac but call me "mamer" for short and I am a Philippine citizen.
First, I am a hard working student was in Agoo Computer College Philippines. Difficult at first but soon I am also trained to work out that until I finish my course BS Computer Science here in Agoo Computer College Philippines. Finally, I also achieved my hopes in life and saw the first victory on my own then.
And when I finished my career I stayed in school. I became one of the school staff, but now I also teach subjects course, tutorials for computers, computer technician and graphics (photo editing).
Second, Living a simple world. I am a friendly, sociable person, cheerful, sometimes quiet, easy to approach if necessary, and above all trust in anything.
